This blog provides some info about the Libyan uprising for freedom after 42 years of dictatorship. The tyrant Gaddafi has started a war on his own people since the beginning of the protests on February 17 of 2011. This blog tries to give updates about the situation in Libya. Please feel free to comment or if you are Libyan, please feel free to share stories, pictures, or videos. Hopefully the blood-shedding of Libyans come to an end soon and we celebrate victory on this blog.

Al-Zawiya
The brave city of Al-Zawiya in western Libya has been brutally attacked by Gaddafi’s forces. It is 50 Kilometers to the west of Tripoli. It was among the first cities in the western part, after Al-Zentan, who went protesting. The media reporters that are in Tripoli were not allowed to go to Al-Zawiya. However, a reporter from Sky News ‘Alex Crawford’ was able to sneak in there. She showed the truth to the world in this video:
