The 1973 resolution of the UN Security Council emphasized the protection of Libyan civilians. However, people are still being massacred in Misrata and Zintan in the west and the NATO hasn’t done anything yet! Last week they said that the visibility was not clear for a strike because of the weather.
This inaction from NATO’s part has caused enormous anger among Libyans who took to the streets in mass demonstrations in Benghazi calling for immediate action to protect their brothers and sisters in the West.
