Libya Liberated Cities Reject the African Union Delegation’s Proposal to Libya (April, 11th)

The “road map” proposal by the African Union which includes ceasefire was rejected by the liberated cities in Libya. The Libyan National Transitional Council insisted that no deal would be made unless Gaddafi is removed from power.  Mustafa Abdel Jalil, the chairman of the National Transitional Council, stated that the African Union’s proposal did not include the departure of Gaddafi and his sons from Libya. Therefore, their proposal cannot be accepted.
