In Libya's rebel held city, Benghazi, many families visit the "Revolutionary Amusement Park" daily to spend few hours of entertainment, away from the ongoing battle between the rebels and Gaddafi.

The amusement park attracts teenagers, adults and children. The park visitors enjoy the large inflatable bouncy castles, all-terrain vehicles and table football games.

Khaled Mohammed (resident): "The children are going about their normal daily life, we take them to centers where they teach the Koran, and places where they can play, and we take them on trips to the seaside, and everything is going well, thank God."

The admission to the park is free. The park was set up by the help of the donations collected by a civilian committee of volunteers.

Abdelhamed Ahmed (volunteer): "This current atmosphere is so hard, so we are doing this for ... We are doing this to give people a sense of stability and to draw the attention of the people away from war. At the same time, this helps heal rifts amongst people, and the situation is good nowadays."

The volunteer entertainers at the park wish that this project will bring the community together and make the people's lives easier under the current unstable conditions.
